I never paid for Standard Subscription, so how can it expire?

The first year of your Pelican solution comes with the Standard Subscription included. After the first year, if you want features of the Standard Subscription then you will want to pay the subscription cost; otherwise, your Pelican Web-App will continue to function under the Basic Subscription level.

Do I need to renew my Pelican Subscription?

It is not required, but renewing your subscription to the Standard Subscription level is valuable if you want the features this subscription level offers.

Your Pelican device’s are not affected by subscription levels. They will always operate using their internal advanced logic and be upgraded to the newest firmware at zero cost for the life of the product.
